Funding Description
The intent of this Request for Applications is to expand full-day/full-year California State Preschool Program services statewide. To expand services this funding opportunity is available to existing contracted agencies, to existing contracted agencies that do not have a contract, or to new agencies without program contracts. These funds are intended to increase the availability of services to eligible children. In accordance with existing law, priority will be given to applicant agencies that will be serving the highest percentage of 4-year-old children. Funding preference shall be provided to undeserved areas as identified by the Local Child Care and Development Planning Council.
Eligible Applicants:Institutions of higher education, local educational agencies, nonprofit organizations, other organizations or agencies
Eligible Grade Level: Pre-K 3, 4
