The Performance Task for English Language Arts is a written response to a
writing prompt. The Students will read a text and respond to a prompt using
evidence from the text. The extended responses will be human scored using a
rubric. The rubric is comprised of three categories: Development of Ideas,
Organization, and Language, Usage, and Conventions. The Performance Tasks
are worth 12 points total.

The Mathematics, Grades 3-8 End of Course performance task tests students
knowledge, precision, interpretation skills, conceptual understanding which can
be measured and related to creating, analyzing and using functions to real world

Mathematics, Grades 3-8 content standards.
