Studies show that many students do not perform well in the state Summative assessments at the end of the school year in spite of knowing the concepts well. The reason for this is today’s state assessment requires that the students are well aware of the different question types in addition to understanding the concepts.
TNReady is a part of the Tennessee Comprehensive Assessment Program (TCAP) designed to test student understanding of the Tennessee academic standards.
The TNReady tests is a pencil and paper test for Grade 3-8 Math and ELA, requiring students complete tasks to assess a deeper understanding of the Tennessee academic standards. The students will encounter 7 different types of question types.
